MENTORING PROGRAM GETS RESULTS FOR WILLIE ALEXANDER
For Willie Alexander the third mentor is a charm...Kevin McDuffie walked into Willie's life as a mentor through the Big Brothers Big Sisters Program three years ago. Willie, 12, was very shy and starting to act up some when a friend referred the program. "Willie has matured so much since Kevin came into our lives" says Willie's mother, Elitha Johnson. McDuffie said "I only have one child at home now, the other is off at college. I felt I might have some time to help some young man." Mr. McDuffie says he helps Willie "make fewer bad choices and more good choices." Article by Ann Wallace - Published in The Leaf Chronicle.
CONGRATULATION WILLIE ALEXANDER!!! Keep up the good work.
